Privacy notice
Last updated: 24 August 2026
This page explains what happens to the information you share when you rate your visit through a Revieww card or page (revieww.co.uk).
What we collect
- Your star rating and, if you give 3 stars or fewer, the feedback message you write.
- Your name and phone number or email — only if you choose to add them. Both fields are optional; you can send feedback without them.
- Basic usage counts (that a card was scanned and a rating given), which contain no personal information.
If you rate 4 or 5 stars and continue to Google, anything you post there is handled by Google under Google's own privacy policy — it never passes through us.
How it's used
- Your feedback is delivered privately to the business you visited — to its owner, or to the service operator (drizzlebot.co.uk) who runs this feedback service on their behalf and passes it on — so they can put things right.
- If you left contact details, they may be used to reply to you about your visit — that's the only purpose.
- We never sell your information, add you to marketing lists, or share it with anyone other than that business and its service operator.
Who's responsible
The business you reviewed is the data controller for your feedback. The Revieww service (operated by drizzlebot.co.uk) processes it on their behalf: delivering the message and keeping the service running.
How long we keep it
Feedback messages are delivered to the business owner and retained only as long as needed to resolve your visit. Usage counts are kept as anonymous statistics.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact the business you visited, or email drizzlebotdev@gmail.com and we'll pass it on or handle it directly. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
